Spotlight on PRSA’s Code of Ethics

9 Sep

Like many other organizations, The Public Relations Society of America has a necessary Code of Ethics which members are to abide by.

It lists the values that PRSA members should have:

  • Advocacy
  • Honesty
  • Expertise
  • Independence
  • Loyalty
  • Fairness

These values shape the Public Relations professional to be responsible, credible and knowledgeable as well as a great representative of the public relations industry.

Each PRSA inductee pledges agreement with and fulfillment of the PRSA Code of Ethics and accepts that there will be consequences for what is deemed as misconduct under the Code of Ethics.
