In order to have successful Global Relations, you have to know what kinds of cultures you are dealing with. It is important to understands the business customs of other countries in order to effectively conduct business. In some countries it may be rude to ask a potential client to meet you at a coffee shop or maybe soem gestures that are OK in your country are inappropriate in your client’s country.

Take time to understand the culture that you are working with and then communications will be so much easier!
